My First Blog

Many of you might be saying to yourself "hey, why is Bob writing a blog when he doesn't even have a Facebook or MySpace account, doesn't own a smartphone, and can still can't text that well?"  The answer is that just because I am not that technologically savvy, I still have a great many opinions that would benefit a great many people a great deal of the time.  After you turn 50 you can think or say practically anything, and you are only dismissed as being curmudgeonly, cantankerous, or colorful.  You seldom are reprimanded for being cruel, prejudiced, or meanspirited, but anyone younger would be highly criticized for similar thoughts or actions.

Armed with this "curmudgeone attitude", I will attempt to make sense of the FUBAR world that we all live in through this blog, all while keeping my finely honed sense of humor.  Keep it tuned here for all new "Bobisms", unique viewpoints, and updates into my life, family, and surroundings.  You will also get plenty of Red Sox, Iowa Hawkeyes, and Boise State Broncos information too at no additional charge.   By the way, the Sox won today--that's two in a  row if you are wondering--and hopefully they are on the way to winning the World Series like they are destined to this year ('04 + '07='11).   Til next time....Bob
